The Hurst 538-7438 is a replacement shifter handle designed for use with bolt-on style Hurst shifter mechanisms. It stands 10 3/4 inches high and features a 3/8"-16 thread size, compatible with specific Hurst shifter balls like the SB003, SB003R, or SB103. The handle is finished in chrome.

The Hurst Chrome Plated Round Bar Stick is the upper bolt on stick that was originally supplied from the factories in Detroit for vehicles that were "Hurst Equipped". The chrome round bar stick, bolt-on design, Hurst logos, and white ball knob were all identifying features and signified that this Hurst Shifter was installed at the factory as original vehicle equipment. Previously, Hurst has never sold the OEM round bar sticks to the general public. They were only available if you bought a vehicle that was optioned with a Hurst Shifter from the dealer. Now this OE style stick is available directly from Hurst, with all the great features, as it was originally designed.
