The Elbe Engineering M117 EFI kit offers a comprehensive upgrade for D jetronic equipped engines, replacing the original injection system with modern electronic fuel injection. At its core is a VEMS ECU paired with a meticulously handcrafted, concentric twisted wiring harness, ensuring reliable signal integrity. This system also boasts Bluetooth connectivity for convenient tuning and monitoring. It also features fuel lines integrated with a billet fuel pressure regulator housing and a Bosch 3 bar regulator, ensuring precise fuel delivery. The ignition system is upgraded with new ignition coils, a mounting bracket, spark plug cables, and an idle air valve with necessary fittings. Comprehensive sensor support is provided to optimize engine performance and diagnostics. This includes a crankshaft sensor with a mounting bracket, coolant temperature sensor, inlet air temperature sensor, and a throttle position sensor with an adapter. A wideband oxygen sensor is included for accurate air-fuel ratio monitoring, and a MAP sensor is integrated directly into the ECU. Vacuum tubing is also supplied for all sensor connections. Additionally, the kit comes with an aluminum crankshaft pulley featuring a trigger wheel, essential for the ECU's timing calculations, and a distributor blank plug.
