The Weistec Engineering M133 W.4 Turbo Upgrade is a comprehensive turbocharger replacement system engineered to achieve significantly higher power output than the stock turbochargers on the M133 engine. This upgrade completely replaces the factory turbochargers and exhaust manifolds with performance-oriented components. At its core, the W.4 Turbo utilizes Garrett GTX3071r Gen 2 ball bearing turbochargers, featuring CNC-machined billet aluminum compressor wheels for enhanced performance. A 3-inch inlet ensures unrestricted airflow to the compressor. The system incorporates a Weistec high-flow, cast stainless steel twin scroll turbo manifold. This design choice was made for its superior reliability and performance, featuring substantially larger inlet ports, runners, and outlets compared to the factory manifold. The cast stainless steel construction is exceptionally durable, preventing the cracking and leaking issues common with tubular manifolds, and its heat retention properties contribute to quicker turbo response. This turbo upgrade is designed to mate with the Weistec M133 Downpipe and is compatible with the factory downpipe, though using the factory downpipe will significantly limit power gains. Supporting upgrades like the Weistec M133 Air Intake System and Anti Surge Valve are recommended for maximum performance. Custom tuning by a qualified tuner is required after installation.
