It features a latest-generation high-performance processor and is housed in a robust magnesium enclosure. This ECU supports modern engine technologies such as Drive-by-Wire (DBW), cam control, and CAN bus, offering comprehensive control and flexibility.

The M142 ECU requires a firmware license to function and offers various logging upgrade options, including Level 2 and Level 3 logging, as well as Pro Analysis software.
