The MoTeC M142 ECU Kit offers a complete, plug-in motorsport-grade replacement for the factory ECU in the 11th generation FL5 Honda Civic Type R (2023+). It is designed to unlock the full performance potential of the K20C turbo engine, offering precise control over crucial parameters like fuel delivery, ignition timing, throttle response, and boost management. This kit supports optional secondary port injection, complementing the factory direct injection system. This capability allows for higher power targets, increased boost levels, and reliable operation with high-ethanol fuel blends. The M142 ECU integrates seamlessly with original vehicle systems, preserving essential factory functionality while providing tuners with the necessary flexibility and programmable control for both immediate performance gains and long-term engine development. The MoTeC M142 ECU Kit retains and supports several original equipment (OE) features, including push-button start, selectable Drive Modes (Comfort, Sport, Individual, +R) via OE controls, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Exhaust Sound Valve control configurable by Drive Mode. It also includes engine speed matching (throttle blip) on downshifts, reverse gear lockout, and OE dash warnings. The kit is specifically designed for the Civic Type R with the K20c engine and is not compatible with other Honda Civic variants, such as those with the 1.5L engine.
