M150 Standalone Engine Control Unit

The MoTeC M150 ECU represents a new era in engine control, designed to overcome the limitations of traditional one-to-one firmware configurations. It utilizes a unique technology that redefines customization and delivers total control without compromise. The M1 series was conceived by MoTeC with operational efficiency, advanced features, and flexibility as primary objectives, enabling the development of tailored firmware solutions ideal for any application, regardless of complexity. This particular M150 unit is a ruggedized version, fully polyurethane-potted and featuring an IP67 rating, making it reliably waterproof for wet or excessively dirty environments. It is housed in a robust magnesium enclosure and powered by a high-performance processor, making it suitable for modern engines equipped with Drive-by-Wire, cam control, CAN bus, and other advanced systems. The ECU includes comprehensive security features and flexible tuning software, with programmable injector drive characteristics, digital inputs for sensors like ref/sync and wheel speeds, and programmable trigger levels and diagnostics. All low side and half bridge outputs offer PWM capability. Level 1 logging is included, featuring a fixed channel set (up to 100 channels) at a maximum of 10Hz. Advanced logging capabilities are available through optional upgrades, including Level 2 (2 log sets, up to 200 channels, 200Hz max) and Level 3 (8 log sets, up to 2000 channels, 1000Hz max). Data analysis can be enhanced with the Pro Analysis upgrade, which enables the use of MoTeC's i2 Pro software. It is important to note that MoTeC M1 ECUs require a firmware license to be functional, and ECU orders without a firmware license will not be processed. The features and capabilities of the ECU are dictated by the purchased firmware package, with some packages offering more advanced features than others. The product is described as 'uniwersalny' (universal) and is intended for closed course competition vehicles only, as it does not meet federal emissions requirements.
