This service kit includes essential components such as engine oil filler cap gasket, engine valve cover gaskets, engine timing cover gaskets, and engine variable valve timing (VVT) adjuster gaskets, along with 32 engine camshaft followers. It is crucial to note that this kit is specifically for M156 engines equipped with aluminum valve covers. If your vehicle has been updated to later plastic valve covers, typically introduced around the 2012 model year, this kit will not fit. The kit ensures OE quality and is compatible with a range of Mercedes-Benz AMG models, including the CLK63 AMG, CLS63 AMG, E63 AMG, ML63 AMG, R63 AMG, C63 AMG, CL63 AMG, S63 AMG, and SL63 AMG, across various model years from 2007 through 2011 (and some up to 2015 for specific models like the C63 AMG). A recommendation is provided to purchase a factory-style timing tool kit for servicing the M156 engine.
