The BlackBoost Catless Downpipes are specifically engineered for the Mercedes AMG CLS63 (218) RWD M157 5.5L V8 BiTurbo model years 2012-2018. These downpipes serve as a high-performance upgrade, bypassing the factory catalytic converters, DPF, and OPF to significantly improve exhaust flow and unlock substantial power gains. Constructed from durable, low-carbon 304 stainless steel, these downpipes feature mandrel-bent tubing and laser-cut components for precise fitment. Each unit is handmade and Tig welded by experienced technicians, ensuring quality and reliability. The design incorporates sophisticated CAD modeling to guarantee optimal flow and a perfect fitment onto the OEM mounting points. Installation is designed as a bolt-on, plug-and-play process. However, it is crucial to note that these downpipes are not street legal and are intended for race use only. A tune is required after installation to remove the check engine light (CEL) that will result from the removal of the factory catalytic converters. These downpipes are compatible with BlackBoost and other turbo upgrades.
