The MFactory Close Ratio Gears are a performance-oriented upgrade for the 2005-2007 Suzuki Swift Sport with the M16A engine, engineered to provide a substantial boost in acceleration. By utilizing a close-ratio design, these gears allow the vehicle to reach peak power bands more effectively, resulting in quicker delivery at the cost of a lower top speed. Constructed from imported Japanese SAE 8620 and 4320 forged steel, these components are double tempered and super sub-zero treated to ensure high levels of toughness. The manufacturing process involves diamond-cutting to exacting tolerances and advanced shot-peening to increase surface hardness, ensuring consistent fitment and long-term durability under racing conditions. Each gear set is designed using Solidworks 3D CAD and Cosmos FEA software, focusing on gear geometry that reduces parasitic drivetrain losses. Race-tested components from this series have been shown to transfer more power to the ground compared to standard configurations, helping to maximize the performance potential of the M16A platform.
