Description

The Helicoil 5396-16 Sav-A-Thread Spark Plug Repair Kit is designed for M16 x 1.5 threads. It is used to repair damaged spark plug ports in Ford Triton 4.6 and 5.4 liter 3-valve engines, including those using Autolite HT and Motorcraft Platinum PZT spark plugs. The kit features specialty tooling for deep port access, a positive mechanical locking feature for insert stability, and a unique piloted reamer tap for alignment and depth control. Pre-drilling is not required.
