The ModalWorks M177 Polymer Carbon Fiber High Flow Intake is a performance-focused intake solution designed to optimize air delivery for the Mercedes-Benz C63 and GLC63 platforms. By utilizing a fully flow-optimized channel and an oval opening equivalent to a 4.5-inch circular diameter, this system provides the largest intake opening on the market for these vehicles. The structure is formed from a durable polyamide and carbon fiber blend, which delivers excellent thermal properties to mitigate heat soak under heavy engine loads. This patent-pending intake system offers significant performance improvements, with dyno testing showing gains of 63 whp and 75 crank hp when used alongside stage 2 stock turbo and fuel system calibrations. It has also proven effective in high-performance applications, contributing to a record-setting 4.9-second 60-130 mph time in a W205 C63. Please note that results may vary depending on the specific tuner and any supporting modifications installed. Professional installation is recommended, and a detailed instruction guide is provided to assist with the process. You must consult your tuner prior to installation to ensure the air box sensor is properly calibrated to account for the increased airflow provided by this system. Note that this part is not legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles.
