The Baxter Performance SS-102-BK is an innovative oil filter anti-drain adapter engineered to enhance engine lubrication and reduce dry starts. This adapter features a patented full-flow check valve that effectively retains oil within both the oil filter and the oil feed line from the pump, ensuring that critical components are lubricated immediately upon engine startup. Constructed from durable aluminum and finished with a black anodized coating for corrosion resistance, the SS-102-BK includes a Schrader valve for added functionality. It features an M20x1.5 thread size and is designed to fit Subaru engines that utilize a top-mounted oil filter. Installation involves a torque specification of 30 ft-lbs using a 1” deep socket, and it requires an oil filter with M20x1.5 threads, such as Subaru oil filters. This adapter is compatible with Subaru FA20, FA24, FB16, FB20, and FB25 engines. Specific applications include the 2013-2020 BRZ/FR-S/86 and the 2022+ BRZ/GR86 models.
