M276 Water-Methanol Injection System

The Weistec Water-Methanol Injection System is engineered to provide significant cooling and knock prevention benefits for Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with the M276 engine. Originally used in aircraft and motorsports, water-methanol injection is known to enhance the performance of turbocharged engines. This system aims to improve engine consistency and performance by reducing intake air temperatures and increasing knock/detonation resistance. Key components include a progressive Water/Methanol Controller with an integrated MAP sensor, which gradually increases injection as boost pressure builds for smooth operation. The kit also features a custom-designed, CNC-machined billet aluminum Weistec Vacuum/Boost Adapter for easy boost reference installation. Additionally, Weistec Silicone Turbo Charge Pipes are included, each with a built-in port for Weistec Barbed Injector Bodies, enabling dual injectors for uniform injection and cooling. The system is designed for a 50/50 water and methanol mixture and comes with small, medium, and large quantity injection nozzles for various configurations. Weistec has manufactured many of the components to ensure a simple installation process, distinguishing it from typical universal kits. The combined cooling effect of methanol and the octane-boosting properties of water result in substantial gains in horsepower and torque, along with a reduced chance of intercooler heat soak. The system is compatible with W.1, W.2, and W.3 powered cars and includes all necessary hardware and gaskets. It is important to note that this product is not legal for sale or use on pollution-controlled motor vehicles in the US. The system is compatible with a range of Mercedes-Benz C-Class, E-Class, and GLE models from approximately 2015 to 2023, specifically those with the M276 3.0L or 3.0TT engines.
