Overview

The MuchBoost M47TU2D20 is a hybrid upgraded turbocharger designed for BMW 120d (E87) and 320d (E90/E91) models with M47TU2D20 engines. This bolt-on upgrade features a custom billet compressor wheel and an upgraded journal bearing system to deliver increased power potential over factory specifications.

Each unit is based on an original Mitsubishi turbocharger and includes a calibrated VNT system for 100% plug-and-play installation. A set of gaskets is included with every purchase to ensure a complete fit.

The MuchBoost M47TU2D20 is a performance-focused hybrid turbocharger designed to replace the factory unit in BMW 120d E87 and 320d E90/E91 models equipped with the M47TU2D20 engine. By incorporating a custom billet compressor wheel, a clipped and lightened turbine wheel, and an upgraded journal bearing system, this turbocharger allows for significant performance gains, offering potential output ranges of 250-260HP or 270-280HP depending on the selected configuration. Built on a genuine Mitsubishi foundation, the unit retains the original electronic actuator and housing, facilitating a 100% plug-and-play installation. Each turbo is precision-machined, dynamically balanced on Schenck equipment, and features a calibrated VNT system to ensure reliability and optimal flow. Note that this unit is compatible exclusively with the M47 engine and is not for the M46 engine. To achieve the advertised power potential, users must adjust their vehicle's fuel, exhaust, and cooling systems accordingly. A custom ECU tune is mandatory following installation to ensure the engine operates safely and effectively with the increased boost. Please note that this product is not compatible with the M46 engine; verify your engine code before ordering to ensure proper fitment.
