M57 EGR Race Pipe Kit

The Bimmertune EGR and cooler kit is a comprehensive system designed for the removal of the EGR valve, EGR cooler, and EGR pipe on USA spec BMW M57 diesel engines. Key components of this kit include a specially designed EGR race pipe aimed at enhancing airflow into the engine. The exhaust manifold blank features a conical shape, ensuring a proper seal for exhaust gas blocking without the need for additional gaskets. For the cooler removal, quick connector water stop blanks are utilized, eliminating the necessity for cutting coolant hoses. A new, original BMW gasket is provided for secure sealing with the manifold, and all required fitting hardware is included for a complete installation. Furthermore, it aids in preventing carbon buildup within the engine and intake system, and can reduce black smoke emissions during full throttle acceleration. It is important to note that after fitting this EGR delete kit, the vehicle may enter limp mode. This condition requires resolution through additional ECU coding or remapping.
