The Zumbrota Drivetrain RMTM5R1F-7TE is a remanufactured M5R1 5-speed manual transmission, specifically engineered for 2001-2011 Ford Ranger and Explorer vehicles with the 4.0L engine and 2WD drivetrain. This transmission features an all-aluminum construction for durability and weight savings. The shift lever bolts into the top cover, and it includes a 5-inch long shifter stub. It is equipped with one switch for the top cover and uses a reluctor wheel for accurate vehicle speed sensor readings.
