The Zumbrota Drivetrain M5R1 is a remanufactured 5-speed manual transmission engineered for reliable performance and durability. This transmission features a comprehensive remanufacturing process that includes three distinct quality inspections. It begins with a pre-inspection to identify any case cracks or excessive wear. During the rebuild, all component parts are measured against original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications. A final inspection ensures that every unit meets Zumbrota's strict quality standards before it leaves the facility. Internally, every part undergoes thorough inspection, including checks for gear wear and testing of synchronizers. The mainshaft is also tested for straightness. Each transmission is dyno-tested to confirm smooth shifting and quiet operation. Zumbrota further differentiates its remanufacturing with an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting process for internal and external parts, followed by a deep cleaning. This M5R1 transmission is specifically designed to fit the 1995-1997 Ford Ranger RWD and the 1995-1997 Mazda B2300 RWD. It comes with a 2-year unlimited mileage warranty for peace of mind. The shipping fee includes the return of your core to the manufacturer.
