Zumbrota Drivetrain Manual Transmissions are rebuilt to high-quality standards using a 3-step inspection process. This includes pre-inspection for case cracks, excessive wear, and OEM-specific problems. Component parts are measured to ensure OEM specifications are met. Each unit is built to strict quality standards, with shaft straightness, gear wear, and synchronizers extensively tested. Seals are replaced, and units are dyno-tested for operation, shiftability, and noise level. The remanufacturing process also includes an exclusive hydro-blast rinse, sandblasting, and proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning for internal and external parts.
