Description

The Zumbrota Drivetrain M5R1 manual transmission has been remanufactured to exacting standards for reliable performance. This unit is specifically designed for 1988-1994 Ford Ranger and 1994 Mazda B2300 models, featuring the 2.3L engine and a 2WD drivetrain configuration. This transmission is built with a white 7-tooth speedo gear and adheres to OEM specifications. Zumbrota Drivetrain employs a rigorous quality control process, including three inspections during remanufacturing. A pre-inspection checks for case cracks and excessive wear, a second inspection verifies all internal components meet OEM standards, and a final post-build inspection ensures strict adherence to quality. Internal components undergo 100% inspection, including gear wear checks, mainshaft straightness tests, and synchronizer testing. To guarantee operational readiness, all transmissions are dyno tested and run through numerous real-life scenarios before shipment.
