Description

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RMTM5R1F-7TP M5R1 manual transmission is a remanufactured unit built to exacting quality standards for 1995-1997 Ford Ranger and B-series 4.0L 2WD applications. Zumbrota employs a rigorous three-step inspection process, including pre-inspection for case cracks and wear, measurement of component parts to ensure OEM specifications, and extensive testing of shaft straightness, gear wear, and synchronizers. Seals are replaced, and each unit is dyno-tested for operation, shiftability, and noise levels to guarantee precision and reliability. Constructed from durable aluminum, this transmission features a top cover where the shift lever bolts in. It includes a 5-inch shifter stub and a mechanical speedometer drive with a 6-tooth purple gear. The unit has a fluid capacity of 3.4 quarts and requires non-synthetic Dexron III or Mercon ATF, which must be purchased separately. A shifter is not included with this transmission.
