M62TU Tune Stage1

The DUDMD Tuning M62TU Tune Stage1 is a performance software upgrade designed to unlock the full potential of your M62TU engine. This Stage 1 tune provides noticeable improvements in throttle response, both at wide-open throttle and part-throttle conditions. It also delivers enhanced horsepower and torque across the entire RPM range, waking up your vehicle's performance. Installation can be accomplished through two methods: Remote Flash or Bench Flash. The Remote Flash option offers convenience, allowing you to flash the tune yourself using a Windows laptop and the provided USB to OBD2 cable. The Bench Flash method requires you to send your ECU to DUDMD Tuning for direct programming. Both methods aim to provide a seamless upgrade experience. This tune specifically targets the M62TU engine found in various BMW models including the E39 540i (1999-2003), 740i/740iL (1999-2001), and X5 4.4i/4.6is (2000-2003), as well as the Range Rover L322 (2003-2005). Features include an increased rev limiter to 6500rpm (customizable upon request), removal of the top speed limiter, and an optional 100rpm idle speed increase. DUDMD Tuning emphasizes that they do not offer tuning for emissions deletes or disable emissions-related systems. Additionally, tuning services are not provided for vehicles registered in California. Note that the complimentary M5 Temp Lights feature is not available for 1999-2000 BMW 540i and 1999-2001 740i/740iL models due to more extensive programming requirements; direct contact with DUDMD Tuning is recommended for a quote on these specific vehicles.
