The CTS Turbo intake kit is an air intake system designed for N55 equipped F2x/F3x/F87 BMWs. It features a proprietary aluminum MAF housing shaped like a hexagon to ensure accurate air flow readings, preventing issues like erratic idling and poor fuel mileage. The kit includes a 3.5" high-flow reusable air filter with an inverted cone design and a 3.5" CNC mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe for smooth air entry.

The CTS Turbo Intake Kit is the result of extensive research and development aimed at optimizing performance for N55 engines. Unlike other aftermarket intakes that can cause drivability issues due to incorrect MAF housing shape, CTS Turbo has engineered a proprietary aluminum OE-style hexagon MAF housing. This design ensures accurate mass airflow readings, preventing common problems such as inconsistent idle, random shift points, and reduced fuel mileage. Key features of this intake system include mandrel-bent 3.5" aluminum piping with a durable black powder coating, a laser-etched CTS Turbo logo, and a 3.5" reusable air filter with an inverted cone design for maximum airflow. The kit also comes with 4-ply silicon connectors, stainless steel clamps, a powder-coated air box for enhanced durability, and all necessary bracketry and hardware to prevent rattling under engine torque. This intake is specifically designed for BMW models equipped with the N55 3.0L engine, including the F30 335i/335i xDrive, F32/F33/F36 435i/435i xDrive, and the F87 M2. It is important to note that this product is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle, as per the California Air Resources Board regulations.
