The ZZP LNF Lower Intercooler Pipe is an aluminum replacement pipe that bridges the intercooler to your vehicle's throttle body. This upgrade offers the flexibility to relocate your Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor directly into the pipe, transitioning your system to a "blow through" MAF configuration, and also repositions the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor. The pipe is designed with multiple mounting holes, allowing for the installation of either the factory MAP sensor or the GMS1 sensor without requiring further modifications. Included with the pipe are a MAF block-off plate, a MAF extension harness, MAF plate screws, silicone couplers, and T-bolt clamps. The MAF extension harness can be installed either in the original MAF hole within the air intake or within this new intercooler pipe. It is important to note that while leaving the MAF sensor in its stock intake location requires no PCM tuning, relocating it into this pipe necessitates a PCM Update to account for the change in MAF sensor position. Additionally, the TMAP sensor is relocated to the vertical pipe leading to the throttle body, preventing any interference issues with the ZZPerformance charge pipe.
