Description

The Bosch 0280217800 is a genuine BMW 540 HFM (Hot-Film Air Mass Meter), also known as a Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. This sensor has a 3.5" diameter, providing higher airflow resolution compared to stock 3.0" US HFM/MAF sensors, allowing for more precise fuel and timing corrections. It is a direct plug-in upgrade for E36 M3 with OBD1 wiring and software and is used for tuning and increasing intake flow on US S50 and S52 engines (including swaps).
