The Mag-Hytec 4R70W-DD transmission pan is engineered for enhanced performance and longevity of your vehicle's transmission. This extra-deep pan increases the fluid capacity to 8 quarts, which is significantly more than the stock pan. Increased fluid volume allows for better heat dissipation, reducing transmission temperatures under heavy load conditions and potentially extending the life of your transmission components. Constructed with robust materials, this transmission pan is built to withstand demanding use. It comes complete with a bolt kit for installation and a convenient drain plug, simplifying fluid changes. The pan has an overall height of 4 3/4 inches, providing the increased capacity. It is specifically designed for F150 Trucks, Explorers, and Expeditions equipped with the 4R70W transmission. Note that this pan is not compatible with AOD transmissions. Additionally, it is specified to use a 4x4 filter in all applications when installing this pan.
