MagnaFlow's state-of-the-art metrology department uses the latest 3D scanning systems during research and development, so you can be confident that your new part will fit and function like the original equipment. By replicating the OE spun body design, the single laser fusion weld greatly reduces the possibility of a leak, and our compact, low-mass design also allows for greater thermal efficiency. This direct-fit catalytic converter is designed specifically for the 2005-2006 Jeep Wrangler and interchanges with OE part 5205 9730AB. This replacement part is designed to meet or exceed California Air Resource Board requirements, and has undergone additional testing to comply with CARB guidelines to allow for legal use in California and CARB restricted states, for the listed vehicles.

Magnaflow Direct-Fit California Catalytic Converter, CARB Compliant. Designed to bolt on to the existing exhaust for quick and easy installation - no cutting or fabricating should be necessary. Features a ribbed body for added strength and durability. Constructed of 100% stainless steel. Rust and oxidation resistant. Built using a monolithic honeycomb catalyst. Seam welded close to the converter body for a strong tight bond that prevents the catalyst from becoming loose and shifting. All joints are welded 1/2" overlapped joints to ensure leak-free quality. Uses an OEM style ribbed heat shield that creates a rigid wall of heat protection and adds structural stability (some converters have been designed to no longer need a heat shield). 50 state legal. Made in the USA – Oceanside, CA.
