The MagnaFlow California Grade CARB Compliant Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter 5592231 is designed to meet emissions standards set by CARB (California Air Resources Board) and is compliant in all 50 states. It features free-flowing mandrel-bent tubing and highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction for durability and optimal performance. Installation is a direct, bolt-on task with no cutting or welding required, utilizing 3D scanning for a precise, leak-free fit with a single laser fusion weld. This converter replicates the OE design and has a compact, low-mass structure for greater thermal efficiency. Two crush ring gaskets are included for installation.
