The Dimple M18x1.5x12 Magnetic Engine Oil Drain Plug is engineered to capture and retain microscopic metal particles that bypass your oil filter, preventing potential engine blockages and prolonging engine life. These particles are an inevitable byproduct of engine operation and can circulate through the oil system, causing wear or damage. It features BMW-specific fitments, ensuring precise compatibility without the need for universal adaptors. The magnet is specifically chosen for its performance in high temperatures, exceeding 300F. This drain plug replaces numerous BMW part numbers, including 07119905428, 11137536578, and others. It is designed for use with N62 and N63 V8 BMW engines found in various models such as the 5 Series (E60/E61, F10/F11), 6 Series (E63/E64, F12/F13), 7 Series (E65/E66, F01/F02, G12), X5 Series (E53, E70, F15, F85), and X6 Series (E71, F16, F86). When performing an oil drain, simply clean the magnet and reinstall the plug with a new OEM crush washer. Related items, such as replacement crush washers, are available separately.
