Description
This close-ratio transmission features a 700 lb-ft torque rating and a double overdrive design with gear ratios of 2.66, 1.78, 1.30, 1.00, 0.80, and 0.63, plus a 2.9R reverse gear. It utilizes multicone synchros for smooth shifts and has short, low-effort shift throws. The transmission is constructed with 4616 chromoly steel gears and shafts, a one-piece counter shaft, and weighs approximately 135 lbs dry.
