Description

The Mahle MAH-197800187 is a set of forged dish pistons engineered for Volkswagen TFSi 2.0L engines from 2006 to 2009. Designed as a completely finished, drop-in assembly, these pistons simplify installation, requiring only the filling of the included performance piston ring set. Forged from high-strength M142 alloy, these pistons offer reduced piston-to-wall clearance and feature an anti-friction skirt coating to minimize drag. Mahle incorporates a forced pin oiler for enhanced wrist pin lubrication, and the pin bores are CNC precision-machined. Key specifications include a 3.287-inch bore size, 3.654-inch crankshaft stroke, and a 5.669-inch rod length. The dish volume is -11.1cc, contributing to a compression ratio of 9.4:1 with 45cc heads. The advertised weight for each piston is 323 grams.
