The Mahle Hydraulic Filter HX230KIT is an aftermarket transmission filter designed for specific Mercedes-Benz and Ssangyong vehicles. It is constructed with a fully synthetic two-layer fleece made of polyester to ensure optimal filtration performance and stability.

This filter is engineered to meet the demands of modern engines with extended service intervals, capable of handling up to 50,000 km. It offers superior aging stability compared to conventional filter media and maintains a low-pressure drop while providing increased dirt-holding capacity.

This construction provides superior filtration performance and stability, preventing issues like embrittlement of the filter media often caused by oil aging and nitration. The synthetic material offers seven times higher aging stability than traditional cellulose fibers, while maintaining an equivalent or lower pressure drop and significantly increasing dirt pick-up capacity. This design supports extended replacement intervals, reaching up to 50,000 km with compatible high-performance oils. Key specifications include a filter insert type, dimensions of 267.5mm length, 175mm width, and 54.5mm height. It features an inner diameter of 28mm and comes with a soft material gasket. This filter is specifically designed for vehicles equipped with the 7-speed automatic transmission, codes 722.9 and 7G-Tronic Plus, and includes a manufacturer restriction of A89. The Mahle HX230KIT is listed as compatible with various Mercedes-Benz models, including the C-Class, E-Class, SL550 (2013-2017 4.7L V8), and Sprinter W906, as well as certain Infiniti and Ssangyong vehicles.
