MIA's Description

The Mahle Lock Rings 6441489 is a piston wrist pin retainer designed for floating-pin pistons. These lock rings are made of steel and feature a C-clip design without a tang. They are suitable for wrist pins with a 0.927 in. diameter and have a thickness of 0.063 in.

These retainers can be used to convert engines with press-fit pins to a floating type, provided the piston has provisions for a lock ring retainer. The Mahle lock rings are sold individually and are intended to provide reliability in your rotating assembly.
