The Mahle Motorsport Chevy LS Piston Set (MPN 930227830) is a set of 8 forged 4032 alloy pistons designed for Chevrolet LS engines. They feature a flat-top design with two valve reliefs, a 4.030" bore, 3.622" stroke, 6.125" rod length, and a 10.6:1 compression ratio, resulting in a 370 cubic inch displacement. The pistons have a compression height of 1.304" and a mass of 438g. They come with 0.927" (23.55mm) diameter steel floating pins (2.287" length, 0.168" wall thickness, 118g mass) and round wire clips. The piston ring set includes 1.0mm, 1.0mm, and 2.0mm thickness rings (file fit). The upper compression ring (UCR) is 1.0mm 9254 Steel with HV385 coating, the lower compression ring (LCR) is 1.0mm 9254 Steel with Phosphate coating, and the oil control ring (OCR) is 2.0mm chrome-plated stainless steel with standard tension. The pistons have Phosphate + Grafal coatings. These pistons are suitable for upgrading horsepower or adding boost.
