Overview

The Mahle PowerPak piston and ring kit (MPN: 930223170) is a complete, race-proven assembly designed for GM LS L92/LS3 engines. This kit features hand-deburred, forged aluminum pistons with a 4.070" bore and a -4cc flat-top design, optimized for a 10.1:1 compression ratio at 70cc. The pistons are treated with a phosphate dry lubricant to prevent ring micro-welding and pin galling during initial startup and break-in, and Mahle's proprietary Grafal anti-friction coating on the skirts reduces drag, scuffing, friction, and cylinder bore wear. The kit includes high-quality steel pins, round wire locks, and low-drag performance rings (1.0mm, 1.0mm, 2.0mm thickness) for a comprehensive upgrade. These pistons are compatible with both press-fit or floating wrist pin styles and are sold as a set of eight.
