The Mahle Motorsports LSX Combo Piston Set (MPN: 930226925) is engineered for high-performance GM LSX engine builds, suitable for both naturally aspirated and forced induction (power adder) applications. These pistons are crafted from a high-strength 2618 forged aluminum alloy, ensuring durability and reliability under extreme conditions. They feature a slipper skirt design. The set includes eight pistons, each equipped with an HV385 coated steel 1.0mm top ring, a Napier 1.0mm second ring, and a 2.0mm oil ring set. Design elements include a 0.250-inch top ring land down and a 0.200-inch second land thickness. The pistons are further enhanced with a phosphate coating and MAHLE’s proprietary GRAFAL® skirt coating, which helps reduce friction and wear, extending engine life and improving efficiency.
