The Mahle Motorsport 930070776 piston set is engineered for performance 2.5L Porsche 944 engines. This set of four forged 2618 alloy pistons features a dish design with no valve reliefs, a 101mm bore (3.976 inches), 78.9mm stroke, 150mm rod length, and an 8.6:1 compression ratio. Each piston weighs 479g. The set includes 24mm (0.945-inch) diameter steel floating pins, weighing 125g each, with a length of 2.287 inches and a wall thickness of 0.177 inches. Round wire clips are also included. The piston rings have thicknesses of 1.2mm, 1.5mm, and 3.0mm, and are file-fit. Coatings include Phosphate, Ferroprint (for aluminum bores), and Hard Anodized Top ring groove for enhanced durability and performance.
