Description

Mahle Motorsports S54 pistons are forged from high-performance 2618 alloy for strength, light weight, and low drag. This set is a first oversize (87.25mm bore) with stock compression, designed for cylinders requiring machining. The 2618 alloy offers improved tolerances and high resistance to detonation. It deforms to absorb combustion forces, preventing catastrophic failure. Piston slap may occur when cold but dissipates when the engine warms up. Features Grafal coating on skirts for reduced friction and wear, and a phosphate coating on other surfaces.
