The Mahle S42097.010 is an engine piston ring set designed for Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks. This premium-grade set features a 3.876-inch bore diameter for a precise fit. It includes an oil ring assembly with a 2-piece groove type and Gns material, measuring 0.1181 inches in thickness. The top piston ring is made of carbon steel with a thickness of 0.1406 inches, while the second ring is cast iron at 0.0783 inches thick. The piston ring face is coated with plasma-moly for enhanced wear resistance, and the set is an oversize 0.010 inch for exact bore matching.
