MIA's Description

The Mahle 41850CP is a premium piston ring set designed for Gen III/IV LS1 engines with a 3.898" bore. This set features pre-lapped rings for immediate seating, minimizing break-in time.

The compression rings have a barrel-faced contact area for efficient compression and a CNC-controlled gap chamfer to optimize sealing and reduce blowby. The intermediate rings have a reverse twist design for better groove sealing and taper race machining. The CP-20 oil ring assemblies include a 20-degree ear angle for optimal side seal against the cylinder wall and a special polish on the expander for enhanced oil drainback.
