Main Cap & Block Brace

Evolving from standard OEM overlay braces, this latest revision integrates billet main caps directly into the cradle design, offering superior protection against the forces that commonly lead to engine block failure. Unlike standalone billet main caps, this integrated system effectively absorbs and disperses energy and shock, preventing it from being directly transferred back into the crankshaft and connecting rods, thereby extending the life of your rotating assembly. Engineered for serious racers and high-performance applications, this brace is specifically aimed at supporting setups exceeding 1000hp, though it can also be incorporated into everyday cruisers without issue. The iron construction provides excellent thermal expansion properties that closely match OEM cast iron blocks, minimizing stress during operation. The surface is O-ring aided for efficient sealing, and it features a blackened finish for enhanced corrosion tolerance. Installation requires a 12mm or 1/2 inch bolt upgrade, and a tunnel bore is also necessary, as is standard for blocks utilizing aftermarket bolts. The brace is available for various configurations, including RB25/26 4WD and 2WD applications, as well as RB30/28 RWD blocks, with the potential to convert between 4WD and 2WD setups using the appropriate supplied bolt kit.
