Description

PRW Main Cap Stud Kits are constructed from premium grade Custom 4135 Steel, specially heat-treated to 180,000 psi for superior strength. The studs are centerless ground after heat treatment to ensure perfect alignment with the main cap and main girdle. Thread rolling is performed after heat treatment to assure better fatigue strength. These kits help eliminate main cap walk and protect the threads in the engine block, strengthening the foundation for high horsepower builds.
