Description

These PRW 1745501 main bearing caps are designed for Pontiac 421-455 engines with a large journal. They are a 4-bolt dowel-pinned replacement or conversion, constructed from CNC-machined 1045 low-carbon billet steel. The set includes three caps and a drill guide. Ideal for high-horsepower engines, these caps increase the stability of the rotating assembly, eliminate cap walk, and reduce main bearing bore distortion.
