Description

The JDi Dual Main Relay Conversion offers a more reliable and serviceable alternative to the original factory main relay in select Honda and Acura models from 1985-2005. It replaces the OE component with standard, readily available Bosch-style 5-pin relays, which are significantly less expensive to replace than the factory unit. This conversion precisely mimics the factory main relay's function by employing two relays. This system is recommended for vehicles with non-modified factory ECUs, as well as those equipped with aftermarket ECUs or tuned for increased power output. A key feature of this kit is the integrated 6-foot kill switch, which allows for the disabling of the ECU and fuel pump for enhanced security. Installation is straightforward and described as fully plug-and-play: simply disconnect the factory main relay and connect the new unit in its place. The kill switch can be installed and hidden for security, or omitted if not desired.
