Main Stud Kit

The ARP Main Stud Kit (203-5406) is engineered to enhance the structural integrity of your engine by preventing main cap walk and fretting, which also protects the threads within your engine block. Constructed from robust 8740 chromoly steel, these studs are heat-treated in-house to achieve a formidable tensile strength rating of 190,000 psi. The threads are precision J-form, and crucially, they are rolled after the heat-treatment process, resulting in significantly stronger and more durable threads compared to conventional methods. The 2-bolt main style stud is designed for specific Toyota applications, including the 1984-1990 Toyota 4Runner, 1981-1985 Toyota Celica, 1981-1982 Toyota Corona, 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser, and 1981-1990 Toyota Pick Up. The material is 8740 chromoly steel with a black oxide finish, and it is important to note that this kit is not designed to work with a windage tray.
