The Velvac Air Brake Compression Fitting is a male elbow made of brass. It is designed for use with nylon or copper air brake tubing and meets DOT compliant and SAE J246 requirements. This fitting features pre-applied pipe thread sealant for a no-leak assembly that saves time and expense, and can be reused up to five times while providing excellent thread lubrication.
