The Kenne Bell Mammoth 4.9LC Supercharger System is a high-performance upgrade for the 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro LS3 6.2L. This air-to-water, liquid-cooled tuner kit utilizes a 4.9L billet twin-screw head unit with 4x6 lobe rotors and a robust shared 8-rib belt drive system. It is engineered to deliver significant power gains, with the potential to add over 300 rear wheel horsepower at 14-24 psi of boost, all while running on 91 octane fuel. Key features of this system include a 20% larger intercooler concept with 30% more cooling rows and fins for enhanced cooling efficiency, and a patented billet external spring bypass valve. The Mammoth 4.5" Cold Air Kit is integrated for optimal air intake, and the liquid-cooled design helps reduce oil temperatures by up to 200°F. This specific kit is a "tuner kit," meaning it requires a custom local tune after installation and does not include a fuel system, programmer, or calibration. The Mammoth 4.9LC system boasts a retro "blow down" design with a front-facing, rear inlet for maximum horsepower and airflow, offering more low and mid-range boost and horsepower compared to centrifugals, with excellent top-end performance. Its billet construction ensures durability and less case distortion. The product is available with your choice of a polished or black polished headunit finish. Installation Note: This kit requires a special hood due to its large size. It is crucial to note that Tuner (Competition) Kits do not include fuel system components or a flash tuner. Additionally, these kits may not be legal for street use in California or states that follow California emissions regulations, and are intended for closed-course competition use.
