Overview

The Flaming River FR1495-1 is a manual steering gear box kit designed for muscle cars, race cars, and vintage rides. Constructed from all-new components, it features improved designs with needle bearings, precision worm and nuts, and stronger casting. This front steer, cast iron box offers a 20:1 steering ratio and comes in a black finish.

The kit includes the steering box, a pitman arm, a u-joint, and a shaft adapter, making it a direct replacement for factory power steering gear boxes in certain applications. It is not a remanufactured unit.
