The CTS Turbo Intake Kit (CTS-IT-289) is engineered to significantly enhance your vehicle's performance by increasing the volume of air delivered to the turbos. This results in improved throttle response and a noticeable gain in horsepower and torque across the entire power band, complemented by an aggressive, race-inspired sound. The kit utilizes a ram air style location that works in conjunction with the OEM air scoop and airbox to force cold air into the intake system. Air then passes through a 3.5-inch high-flow air filter featuring an inverted cone design for optimal air intake. The system includes a 3.5-inch CNC mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe, designed to minimize turbulence and ensure smooth airflow directly into the engine. Key components include mandrel-bent aluminum piping with black powder coating, a reusable air filter, a 3.0-inch composite velocity stack, 4-ply silicon connectors with stainless steel clamps, and specialized bracketry to prevent rattling during engine operation. This intake system is estimated to provide gains ranging from 9-12 horsepower. However, it is important to note that this product is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle, as per the California Air Resources Board regulations.
