The MagnaFlow 49202-DI is a direct-fit catalytic converter engineered to keep the check engine light off and meet Federal emissions requirements set by the EPA. Constructed from durable 308 stainless steel with MIG welds, and featuring high-strength 16-gauge 409 stainless steel tubing, it offers exceptional corrosion resistance and a long service life. The mandrel-bent tubing retains an OEM-like design for smooth exhaust flow, contributing to peak fuel economy and engine operation. Installation is simplified due to its direct-fit design, which eliminates the need for cutting or welding. MagnaFlow utilizes the latest 3D scanning systems in its research and development to ensure a perfect fit and function that matches original equipment. The converter includes essential gaskets (one donut and one flat ring) for a straightforward installation process. Its spun body design and OE-sized, corrosion-resistant 410 stainless steel exhaust hangers are crafted to reduce noise and vibration. It is compatible with Federal/EPA emissions systems on 2000 model year and earlier vehicles, or any model year vehicle manufactured with Federal/EPA emissions certification (non 50-State). The product interchanges with OE parts AE5Z-5E212-M, CA01-20-600, CA01-20-600A, CA01-20-600B, CA01-20-600C, CY01-20-600, and CY01-20-600A.
