Manley Performance's "Platinum Series" pistons are machined from high-strength 2618 alloy forgings, designed for superior performance and durability in high-horsepower applications. They feature proven cam and barrel skirt profiles, tool steel wrist pins, and moly skirt coatings on select part numbers. The pistons utilize an offset wrist pin design for quiet start-ups and achieve perfect ring groove to skirt squareness through a unique "one fixturing" manufacturing method. They come complete with pistons, rings (premium steel top ring sets from Total Seal), chrome moly wrist pins, and round wire locks. 9310 alloy upgraded wrist pins are also available. These pistons are lightweight yet robust and are ideal for upgrading horsepower or adding more boost.
